Our club mission is to maintain a high degree of craftsmanship in modeling utilizing prototypical and historical information. 

In addition to contributing to the local community for over 30 years by offering open house events to help educate the public on the attributes of fine scale modeling as well as American railroad history.

We are now embarking on creating a new layout to replace the one rendered unavailable by the March 2020 earthquake and Open Houses are currently suspended during construction

GSTC of Utah is now located in the Sugar Space Arts Warehouse at 132 S 800 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. and we hope to move to a larger space in the lower level as it becomes available

We are a 100% DCC  Club that meets every Saturday for train operations.
Open houses for the public are held on the second Saturday of each month. Come by and say hello.

About Us

GSTC of Utah is a group of Model Railroad enthusiasts that model trains from America’s railroads past and present. We welcome those who have interests in this great hobby to become members of our club, join us to continue the future of the joy of Model Train Operations.

Our club supports the NMRA  with a 100% membership requirement.  Club membership dues are currently set a 20 dollars a month.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
